After an unprecedented seven hour journey from Sommerville to NYC, we had just enough time to wolf down $10 hot pastrami sandwiches from the diner where that scene from "When Harry Met Sally" was filmed, check out the kick-ass lounge cover band that played before us, and get our skinny white asses on stage. Sam once subbed for Dave a couple years back at the Brown Underground, so I guess we knew ahead of time what we were getting into. Goddamnit that man is so funky!!
