source: SBD L/R (XLR matrix outs > XLR - 1/4" cable > 1/4" - RCA couplers > RCA - 1/8" stereo mini cable) > MDAT @ 48k (PCM-M1 record; PCM-R500 playback) > Tascam CD-RW750 (via coax) > PowerBook G4/xACT v1.58 (extraction) > .wav > Audacity 1.2.4b (splitting tracks and editing*) > .wav > xACT v1.58 > FLAC (level 8)

taper notes: There were several clips/pops on the DAT master during the show, probably from something clipping on the SBD, an effect, or a bad cable on stage. A few of the worst pops, more likely from clipping, were smoothed out as best as possible with the pencil tool at the sample level. There are still some brief spots present that could not be fixed easily, most noticeably @ track 8: 1:38-1:40 & 1:45 and during some places between songs. There was also a very loud spike in the vocals during track 4 @ 5:44 from a vocal delay effect used by the engineer. This section of track 4, ~ 5:44 - 5:47 was compressed to bring the levels closer in line to the rest of the song, although the spike is still significant.

Taped, mastered, and FLAC'd by James Bartoli
