lotus notes: The next day we were down at what is one of our favorite places to play, the Fox Theatre. The show was 21+ at the venue's request. So there was a good crowd of around 500, and everyone still had room to boogie. First set had to be kept short due to the tight schedule with an opening band and DJ Harry. But the Plant Your Root>Sunrain to close it out had the entire crowds arms in the air, which is amazing to see from stage. I thought second set was one of the tighter sets we've played. The Bubonic Tonic hit a really nice peak at the end of the jam, and Marisol was rocking for the second time played. It's really nice to have the crowd responding so well to material they've never heard before. Sid>Suitcases ended the set on a high note. We had very limited time for an encore so we decided to bust out Devo's Whip It with Steve stepping out from the kit to do the vocals and Chuck taking over on drums.
