notes from original seed: Sorry about disc2, but the other option was to cut Bowie between the intro and the hook, and then cut the true jam out of Jim to Starnge Design. Hood picks up without being jammed into, and for all cuts the music is eactly split, no fades, for simple reconstruction to different tracking, if you prefer. (i preferred, i moved bowie back onto an 80min disc1, retracked the border of waterSky/bowie, and left it at that -davepeterson)

Two notes of interest, a spike in The Sloth was slightly dampened (-2dB) so the entire set was better normalized (both sets normalized). I think this makes our copy slightly superior to the original DAT. Secondly, the audience was interrupted between the end of 2 to the E, so I used a fade in/out.

Phish Companion says: This Runaway Jim is one of the longest versions of any song ever played. It ran slightly under an hour and included Harry Hood teases and a strong Weekapaug jam, where the entire melody of Weekapaug was played. Buffalo Bill was announced as Fishman's favorite song. During Moby Dick, Trey imitated Robert Plant's intro from The Song Remains the Same.
The Sloth was played for the first time since February 23, 1997 (55 shows),
and TMWSIY and Avenu Malkenu were played for the first time since December 28, 1996 (67 shows).
