* With funky ambient jam. ** With long, thick funk jam. # Preceded by "Maze" tease. ## Introduction by Trey talking about things Fish hates (e.g., "HYHU"), including the yellow lights (which Chris then aimed at Fish for the whole song). ^ No whistling. ^^ Trey looks down, sees Betty in the crowd, smiles, and says "Beatriz" (see 07/08/98). % With a tease of Aaron Copland's "Fanfare for the Common Man" in the intro.

Phish Companion says: On this nite, Phish treated its fans to the most intimate show in years: an unannounced gig at this popular west coast venue (which should not, however, be confused with the Fillmore West). Brian and Robert was performed with a yellow spotlite on Fishman after Trey mentioned how much he hates HYHU and the yellow lights. Page responded to Trey with a humorous HYHU tease. Reba included the use of a disco ball over the crowd. My Soul was preceded by a reference to Betty (see 7/8/98) from Chile, whom Trey noticed in the crowd. Hood contained a tease of Aaron Copland's Fanfare for the Common Man.
