^ Trey flubs the lyrics; plays "air guitar"; swings guitar, using his effects pedals and feedback to manipulate the sound.
^^ With Pete Carini; lyrics mention Mia Hamm (Trey was wearing her jersey).
^^^ Chorus-only reprise; with crew and fans on stage doing "The Meatstick Dance"; after the song, others leave Trey and Mike on-stage to do the dance alone.
# A cappella; band in stars-and-stripes (Fish: boxers; Trey and Page: pants and vests; Mike: tank-top underneath, revealed during the song); ended with eruption of fireworks.
Phish Companion says: Fishman, introduced as "Flagina Fishman", took a vacuum solo during I Didn't Know wearing only starts & stripes boxers. Slave included a What's the Use tease and an instrumental Dark Star tease from Mike & Page. What's the Use subsequently debuted later in the set. Silent included a Little Drummer Boy tease. After Carini, the band reprised the chorus of Meatstick while part of the crew and a few fans did the Meatstick Dance. The band performed the encore in stars and stripes outfits, and, afterwards, the sky was filled with fireworks. What's the Use debuted at this show, where Trey wore a Mia Hamm soccer jersey. Fast Enuff was played for the first time since 7/16/98 - 55 shows, and Star Spangled Banner was played for the first time since 12/2/97 - 82 shows.
